Ciana has been in motion since a young age. She was a dancer for 15 years; soon after leaving the dance world she found yoga and has been practicing for the past ten years. Ciana completed her teacher training at the Kripalu Center for Yoga with the intention of deepening her personal yoga practice, but quickly fell in love with teaching.

Ciana’s classes are centered around compassionate self-inquiry, inspired by the teachings of Swami Kripalu, founder of Kripalu Yoga, who famously stated, “Self-observation without judgment is the highest form of spiritual practice.” Her slow-paced classes focus on integrating breath with asanas/movement to support overall health, build strength and deepen self-awareness.

Ciana is also an energy practitioner, offering Reiki, 13th Octave LaHoChi, and is currently training as a Breathwork Facilitator through Breath Liberation Society. When she isn’t practicing yoga, or breathing, you can find her running on the backroads of the southern Berkshires, farming, and creating nourishing meals with local foods.
