Jessica is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher at the Senior Intermediate 1/level 3.   She is a member of IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapists) and has taught Iyengar Yoga for 25 years in the Hudson Valley.   

She teaches beginner, intermediate, and advanced level classes, smaller yoga therapy classes, and workshops that focus on specific needs (Hip issues, Lower Back pain, Core stability etc.).  Jessica works with clear and methodical detail.  Through her classes, we become aware of parts of the body to bring strength, stability, flexibility and healing to the body and mind.   Her classes are playful, challenging, and deeply therapeutic.  She is well practiced in Iyengar Yoga therapy as a highly effective tool to help with pain management from lower back pain, hip, knee, shoulder, neck and other deeper traumas. 

Iyengar Yoga strengthens and heals on multiple levels – physical, emotional, and psychological and offers a view to seeing ourselves more clearly.  She often quotes BKS Iyengar saying ” when I am aware of all the different pieces of myself, I am at peace”.
